Draft Cuban Constitution Now Available on Constitute

Posted on 02.06.19 by admin

The CCP is pleased to announce that the draft Cuban Constitution is now available for analysis on both the English and Spanish versions of Constitute. Visitors can compare the draft to the current Cuban Constitution or to other world constitutions — just in time for the February 24 referendum!

For instance, Cuban voters and others can now easily compare provisions about private property or marriage rights in the current Constitution to those in the draft text. To learn more, check out CCP co-director Zachary Elkins’ latest article, “How to Read the Cuban Constitutional Reforms.”
