We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Comparative Constitutions Project website, now hosted at the University of Texas at Austin! The refreshed platform offers improved navigation, updated resources, and enhanced accessibility for researchers, practitioners, and students of comparative constitutional law.
Alongside this launch, CCP is releasing two major dataset updates. Version 5.0 of CCP’s Chronology of Constitutional Events dataset tracks constitutional events across countries and time. Version 5.0 of its Characteristics of National Constitutions dataset provides detailed information on the content of the world’s constitutions. Both datasets are updated through 2023 and include expanded coverage and refined coding to reflect the latest developments in constitutional change worldwide.
These releases represent CCP’s continued commitment to supporting rigorous comparative constitutional scholarship. The CCP team is directed by Zachary Elkins and Tom Ginsburg and includes Ashley Moran as research director, Roy Gardner as research associate, Matthew Martin as research scientist, and Andrés Cruz, Guillermo Pérez, Jessie Baugher, and Michael Werner as senior research analysts. Matt Martin led development of the new CCP website.
CCP invites you to explore the new site and access the latest data resources at comparativeconstitutionsproject.org. Follow CCP on X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube to get regular updates on constitutional research!
