In anticipation of Thailand’s August 7 referendum on a new constitution, International IDEA’s Leena Rikkila Tamang had a conversation with CCP co-director Tom Ginsburg and constitutional law scholar Khemthong Tonsakulrungruang about the drafting process, the content of the draft charter, and the possible political consequences of the referendum.
