Bahrain dissolves secular opposition group. The High Civil Court of Bahrain has dissolved the National Democratic Action Society (Wa’ad), Bahrain’s main secular opposition group, after the group asserted that the country is in the midst of a constitutional crisis. The Ministry of Justice prosecuted the group for “advocating and inciting terrorism,” a claim which Amnesty International called “baseless and absurd.”
