Nepal Constituent Assembly finishes collecting public feedback on draft constitution. Lawmakers have concluded the national campaign to collect public feedback from all 240 electoral constituencies in Nepal, receiving strong participation in all areas except the southern region of Madhesh, where protesters clashed with state authorities. The Committee on Citizen Relations and Public Opinion Collection is now processing the feedback, and will present a consolidated report to the full Constituent Assembly in the coming days.

Somali leaders reach agreement to strengthen national cohesion.  Following a week of diplomatic talks in the city of Garowe, Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke and the leaders of the Puntland and Jubaland states signed a joint communiqué on Sunday, agreeing to prioritize national unity and respect the country's provisional constitution. The cooperation agreement follows two decades of civil unrest and disagreements between the central and state government authorities.
